Reading's Academy made it three wins from three as the youngsters won 2-0 at Norwich.
A goal in each half from Craig Tanner and the in-form Uche Ikpeazu continued the Royals' fine start to the season and kept the pressure on league leaders Bolton Wanderers.
The Royals started well at Norwich's Colney Training Centre, and took a deserved lead when Tanner notched home after 27 minutes.
The young Royals had chances to extend their lead and eventually did when Ikpeazu bundled home for his tenth goal of the season.
The Canaries fought back, boasting much of the second half possession but Reading's defence held firm to keep Norwich at bay and register their third clean sheet of the season.
Eamonn Dolan's side have now won three on the bounce, and will look to make it four when the Academy host West Brom at Hogwood Park this Saturday.
