Daniel on his return to action
Daniel Carrico feels like he's back to full fitness after making his return in the Royals' Barclays Premier League draw with Liverpool last Saturday.
The former Sporting Lisbon captain made his first appearance since January to make his return against the Reds during the second half - and he helped the Royals earn a point.
"It was a tough game - Liverpool are a really good team with quality players," he said. "But we are here to get points and win games. We keep going - we got a point against a really tough opposition, so we still believe.
"Steven Gerrard is a great player but I tried my best to help my teammates get a point. We are happy, but unfortunately we couldn't win.
"Obviously, the first time I played it was on the back of a long injury. Now, I'm feeling really fit and strong and I feel I can help my teammates. I'm happy to be back into action and to play."
The Royals travel to Norwich this weekend and Carrico thinks it will be difficult - like any top flight away game - but still believes Reading can pick up points with five games to go.
"It's an away game, it will be difficult as it always is in the Premier League, but we still believe," he added.
"We are in a difficult situation but we have to still believe. We have five games to go and we have to get points, get good results and keep going."
