A Reading Development Squad will travel to Eastleigh on Saturday afternoon - for a 3pm kick off at the Silverlake Stadium.
Whilst Brian McDermott's first team take on Crystal Palace at Madejski Stadium, Chris Cummins will lead a promising group of youngsters to round off their pre-season campaign.
Midfielder Jem Karacan will travel with the group - as he continues to get minutes under his belt ahead of the Premier League season.
