Reading Under-21s take on their counterparts from Chelsea on Monday 7th March (kick-off 7.05pm) at Madejski Stadium… and entry and parking is totally FREE
! All supporters will be seated in the West Lower Stand.
Martin Kuhl’s men are looking to get back on a winning track – they took a commendable 1-1 draw away at Southampton
last month despite playing most of the game with 10 men, and then repeated the scoreline against Tottenham
at Adams Park last Thursday, with Jack Stacey scoring the Royals’ goal.
The U21s took a very commendable point away from Stamford Bridge
when they visited back in September – Rowan Liburd’s double looked like it wasn’t going to be enough to salvage anything, but then a stunning free-kick from Liam Kelly, deep into stoppage-time, made it 3-3.
It is the third time our youngsters have played at Madejski Stadium this season – Liverpool
were both defeated on their visits earlier in the season. After trips to Everton and Norwich later this month, the U21s’ final match of the 2015/16 campaign is again at Madejski Stadium as Man City visit on April 11th.
