Midfielder Danny Guthrie was delighted to interact with supporters at the Stadium Megastore during the signing session
on Tuesday afternoon.
Guthrie was joined by Adam Federici, Alex McCarthy, Jem Karacan and Sean Morrison at the store to sign autographs and pose for photos with the young fans - and the 25 year old said it was great to speak to those who come and support the Royals every week.
"It's always nice to go and see the people that come and support us at the weekend," Danny told Reading FC Player
. "It's nice to put a smile on their faces and sign things for them - it's a little thing to ask of us.
"You always want to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I've got a little girl and a little boy on the way so I understand where the really young ones are coming from!"
And Guthrie said that the side are determined to get three points on the board on Saturday, and won't give up on the challenge to keep Reading in the Barclays Premier League.
"Personally, I've recently got back into the team so it's an opportunity to finish the season on a high," he added. "We need to get that win and while it's still possible, we never give up."
