Winger Hal Robson-Kanu says the Royals faithful have been 'fantastic' so far this season and have a big part to play for the rest of our Premier League campaign.
The supporters helped Brian McDermott's men over the line as they earned their first top flight in 2012/13 - and Hal was naturally elated.
"The fans are fantastic - they have been throughout the season, last season and the one before," he said. "We'll need them for the rest of the season and we'll definitely build on this.
"In any season it's important to get wins under your belt. That's our first win and we'll definitely look to build on it now."
Robson-Kanu explained that the manager's team talk at half time inspired the players to overturn the 1-0 deficit that high-flying Everton inflicted on them.
"The manager always motivates us from the get-go and he did that again at half time. We obviously picked up our tempo, got in their faces and showed what we're about.
"We've done that all season and it's nice to get a result from it. Especially against Everton who are a really good team - we made no bones about that."
HRK was also delighted to have started the match and contributed to the Royals' emphatic win - and credited Adam Le Fondre for grabbing both crucial goals.
"He's a goalscorer, he's proven that and we've got goalscorers throughout the team. It's nice for him to get two and win the game for us.
"Personally, I've always backed myself and I know what I'm about and what I can do for the team and I'll show that every time I'm on the pitch."
