Reading's reserves earned a 3-1 win away to QPR this Tuesday afternoon, thanks to two goals from Simon Church and one from Lawson D'Ath.
It was a positive afternoon for Chris Cummins' side, with Daniel Carrico also getting 75 minutes under his belt in midfield and Hope Akpan debuting as a half time substitute.
Nicky Shorey played 90 minutes after a recent illness, while Kaspars Gorkss also played the full game against a Rangers side containing the likes of Anton Ferdinand, Luke Young and Alejandro Faurlin.
All four goals came in the second half, Church scoring two in quick succession from crosses by D'Ath and Nick Arnold. QPR pulled one back with a penalty, but D'Ath scored from a Jordan Obita cross to round off the scoring.
Royals boss Brian McDermott and Director of Football Nick Hammond saw a good performance from our side, and they joined Rangers boss Harry Redknapp on the sidelines at QPR's training ground.
