Summary of Royals activities over Easter

Plenty has been going on in and around Madejski Stadium over Easter - with lots of good work being achieved in the community, youngsters participating in Soccer Schools and Royals stars taking time out to meet young fans!

Ball Boys & Girls visit Hogwood Park

As a way of saying thanks for all of their hard work, the Royals invited its team of ball persons for a unique insight into training. Nigel Adkins took time out after training to sign autographs and pose for photos, while Adam Federici and Sal Bibbo set up a penalty shoot-out session for the group - watch the video on Reading FC Player by clicking here.

Young Royals fans' forum
50 very lucky Young Royals, along with their parent or guardian, were invited to attend an exclusive Fans Forum at Madejski Stadium during the Easter holidays after applying! The enthusiastic youngsters put their questions to Royals captain Jobi McAnuff, midfielder Mikele Leigertwood, defender Adrian Mariappa and striker Noel Hunt. Of course, the four of them were more than happy to have photos with the young Royals and sign autographs for them.

Megastore signing
Five Royals stars took time out on Tuesday afternoon to meet and chat to young supporters in a packed Megastore at Madejski Stadium. Our young fans had an afternoon to remember - first they took part in some Young Royals Easter Magic Activities, trying their luck on the Speed Cage and visiting a glitter tattooist inside the West Concourse, before heading to the the store to meet their idols!

Adam Federici, Alex McCarthy, Danny Guthrie, Jem Karacan and Sean Morrison signed autographs on Royals memorabilia, posed for photographs and chatted with the youngsters. New directions Garden Regeneration
A number of young people have produced some outstanding work within the Prince's Trust - and have all come together to regenerate the allotments located in south Reading. Noel Hunt attended their final project, while their presentation took place on 11th April.
