Young Royals strikers Karl Sheppard and Brett Williams will both be in action today for different teams.
Karl is set to join up with with Second Division side Accrington Stanley FC as they host Coventry City at the Crown Ground later this afternoon.
The 21-year-old Irish forward joined the Royals from Shamrock Rovers last January but has been unfortunate with injuries - he is now ready to prove himself and the venture with ASFC is a positive step with a view to a six-month loan move.
Former Eastleigh striker Brett Williams will also be donning a different jersey as he sees action with Woking FC in their friendly fixture at home to Aldershot Town. Similar to Sheppard, Brett is looking at a loan move, in his case it will be season-long.
Both forwards will be gaining excellent experience from the matches and their potential moves.
Also out on loan right now are Michael Hector (Shrewsbury), Gozie Ugwu (Yeovil) and Angus MacDonald (AFC Wimbledon). Hector was man of the match in a friendly with Wolves, while Ugwu has already scored four goals in pre-season friendlies.
