Midfielder Jay Tabb
has warned the Royals that Saturday's opponents Norwich will be tough opposition.
Tabb, who features in tomorrow's match day programme 'The Royal', says it's time for Reading to be ruthless in order to reward our excellent supporters.
"The fans are good to us and they always stay on our side," he said. "Everyone's delighted that we're in the Premier League but we want to stay here. After having a taste of it for a few months we know this is the place to be.
"The atmosphere and spirit is good because we have the ability to win games. We just need to be a bit more ruthless and see out games."
Personally, Jay is pleased with his displays in a Reading shirt this season - but is wary of the threat that the Canaries will pose tomorrow.
"I've only been in the team for a few games but I'd like to think that I've done better as the games have gone on. You get fitter and stronger with a run in the team, but you're only as good as your last game.
"Norwich did fantastically last year and they're a a team we want to emulate. They didn't have a great start but they are picking up points now and proving hard to beat. They're a good side and it's going to be a tough test."
