Brian McDermott has no new injury concerns to deal with ahead of this weekend’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur.
Jason Roberts remains sidelined with a calf problem, though is expected to return to training soon – whilst Jimmy Kebe was able to join in fully with his colleagues at Hogwood Park towards the end of this week, however it is thought this Sunday could come a little too soon for the Malian winger.
Hal Robson-Kanu was in action for Wales over the international break and so should be available for selection, as will Adam Federici
– who pulled out of the Australian squad with a slight knee problem but has now recovered.
Spurs still have three long term absentees – Scott Parker (Achilles), Heurelho Gomes (ankle) and Younes Kaboul (knee). However Andre Villas-Boas will be happy with his strength in depth, given the additions of Hugo Lloris, Jan Vertongen, Moussa Dembele and Clint Dempsey in the transfer window.
The referee for the game is Mr Howard Webb – who can of course claimed to have refereed the last World Cup Final, and last officiated the Royals in our classic 3-0 win over Cardiff in the 2011 Championship playoff semi-final.
