Hansen impressed by Royals resurgence

The Royals were the Premier League's comeback kings for the second weekend in a row - and the performance was duly noted by BBC's Match of the Day pundits.

Speaking on MOTD3, Liverpool legend Alan Hansen spoke of Reading's feat and realised how much the players perform for manager Brian McDermott.

"Reading again, for me, was the big story. They made a remarkable comeback against West Brom last week, but that was at home.

"They were absolutely magnificent again to come back against Newcastle, who are now in trouble themselves.

"They've got spirit, grit and determination - and they play for the manager, they play for the supporters and give it 100% every time they play."
