Striker Gozie Ugwu has agreed to join Plymouth Argyle on a one-month youth loan deal.
The Academy product has previously gained experience on loan at Ebbsfleet and Yeovil Town, and now faces a new challenge with the Pilgrims.
After his loan spell at Yeovil ended, the 19-year-old momentarily returned to Berkshire and was in and amongst the first team for the Royals' FA Cup trip to Crawley.
Speaking to readingfc.co.uk last week, Gozie was pleased to be involved and is keen to follow a similar path to the likes of Jem Karacan and Alex Pearce - who both had spells out on loan.
"Since I came back I've enjoyed being around the first team," said Ugwu. "It was a nice surprise to go straight into the first team at Crawley and it was good to get a run out at QPR too.
"If you look at the older boys such as Jem and Pearcey you see that they've gone out on loan. They've had their experience as I've been doing too. And if you look where they are now, you see that it's obviously helped them."
Gozie will be hoping to be involved this weekend as Plymouth travel to Southend United.
