Manchester United will be without defender Phil Jones and winger Nani for Saturday evening's Barclays Premier League clash with the Royals.
Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed this morning that the duo would miss the tea-time kick off, while captain Nemanja Vidic and Robin van Persie are expected to be restored to the Red Devils' starting XI.
"Nani came off against Chelsea but it is not serious and it will only be a couple of weeks out," the United boss told reporters during his press conference at Carrington. "We thought it was another bad hamstring injury but it’s only a slight one. Hopefully he’ll be ready for action after the Sunderland game.
"Phil Jones is not back yet, but he should start training next week. The players have done well in training this week and hopefully we’ll be okay tomorrow (Saturday)."
