Midfielder's stats from Newcastle win

Mikele Leigertwood played exceptionally well in our superb 2-1 win at Newcastle on Saturday, and his match stats backed up an excellent individual performance at St James’ Park.

Leigertwood helped set up the equalising goal with a superb 40-yard pass to Jimmy Kebe, and he had our best passing stats on the day with 40 out of 51 completed, a success ratio of 78%.

The @StatsZone FourFourTwo app listed Ledge as our most influential player in 95th Royals appearance, and his full stats on the day showed just why he was so important to our victory:

Speaking live on Reading FC Player and BBC Berkshire after the game Mikele said, “It was a great feeling to get back to back wins, and an away win as well of course. It’s nice to play well and of course to play my part for the team. Luckily enough the magic man Adam came on and scored with his first touch!

“It’s our first away win of the season and I think coming from behind again says a lot.”

“I’ve missed quite a bit of training since the Tottenham game and it was touch and go whether I’d make it. I managed to get a few days under my belt this week, I felt good enough to play and the gaffer put me straight back in which I was very pleased about.”
