Royals midfielder Danny Williams has returned to full training at Hogwood Park this week.
The American international has been sidelined since a 1-0 win over Leeds in September, and after battling through the pain - admits it's great to be back involved.
"It felt really good to be back," he said. "This is the kind of injury that takes a long time to heal completely but I feel like I'm back now. I feel like I'm ready to go. I have to see how the sessions go this week, that I don't have too much pain. It's the gaffer's decision but I'll tell him I'm ready and he can trust that I will put everything in."
The 24-year-old was part of a successful event in the Oracle on Monday afternoon, as he joined Royston Drenthe, Hope Akpan and Chris Baird in meeting supporters and signing copies of the new 2014 calendar.
"It was great to meet with the supporters - those events are always fun and the fans seemed to have a great time."
