More than 350 guests enjoyed a night full of laughs and World Cup winning stories at the Reading FC Sporting Dinner sponsored by Clydesdale Bank, last Thursday.

Steve Coppell and members of his senior coaching staff joined Royals Chairman John Madejski, Chief Executive Nigel Howe and Director Ian Wood-Smith for the evening at Madejski Stadium.

Clydesdale Bank's guests enjoyed pre-dinner drinks in the Directors' Lounge with the top table guests including, 1966 World Cup Winner, Martin Peters MBE, comedian Gary Marshall and Royals Manager Steve Coppell.

Guests enjoyed a three course meal with wine before sitting back to listen to an array of fascinating stories told by footballing legend Martin Peters MBE and the hilarious comedy styling of Gary Marshall.

The evening was a great success with positive feedback from regular attendees, "Yet again we thoroughly enjoyed the dinner last night!" Cynthia Townley, AB Walker & Son.
