It's been a busy week off the pitch for the Royals, with a number of players out and about to lend their support to local community initiatives.
Last Thursday left back Scott Golbourne visited a half-term soccer school with 30 children at Henwick Worthy in Thatcham.
On Friday central defender Aaron Brown (pictured) attended an anti-smoking event in the Abbey Baptist Church in Reading town centre.
Full backs Ulises De La Cruz and Liam Rosenior supported Network Rail's roadshow with our Community department to encourage safety around railway lines at Our Lady of Peace School in Burnham on Monday - the event was organised in conjunction with the Premier League's Creating Chances scheme.
On Tuesday afternoon young Danish goalkeeper Mikkel Andersen made a visit to Lamb's Lane Primary School, helping the children with a project on the Club they have been undertaking.
And on Wednesday afternoon fellow keeper Ben Hamer went along to a 'Kick It Out' anti-racism event organised by the Club's community department at Geoffrey Field School in Whitley.
The visits will continue on Thursday with Dave Kitson attending Larchfield Primary School, Kalifa Cisse greeting pupils from Holmer Green School and Stephen Hunt taking part in a Q&A session for the Prince's Trust.
37 player appearances have now taken place in the community since the beginning of August, underlining the Club's commitment to supporting local activities.
If your organisation would like to arrange a personal appearance from one of our players, please email Abby Carter on acarter@readingfc.co.uk with details of the events.
