Long's anti-bullying message
Royals striker Shane Long visited Ascot Heath Junior School on Monday afternoon to support an anti-bullying campaign.
The Irish international spent an hour and a half with 60 Year Five children, and also met ten season ticket holders from Year Six.
Shane signed autographs and posed for photos, as well as answering questions on football and life as a professional sportsman.
In addition he spoke out against bullying, tell the youngsters that he would tell an adult if ever saw bullying at school.
He named Kevin Doyle as his best friend at Reading and tipped Manchester United to win this season's title.
He also revealed that he likes to swap shirts with opponents after games with his prize scalp being Louis Saha's jersey!
This is national Anti-Bullying Week, and another Royals player will be attending a similar event at Twyford Community Centre on Friday afternoon.
