Job Title: Ticket Office Manager
Department: Ticket Office
Reporting to: Commercial Director
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 8.45am to 5.15pm (1 hour break), weekends and match days when required.
Overall Aim
- To manage the operation of the Ticket Office and Group Ticket Departments
- To grow Attendance
Main Role
- To process all ticket requests for RFC and London Irish through the internet, by phone and in person
- To manage and develop all staff and match day workers
- To liaise with other departments to ensure the most efficient ticketing operation
- To ensure excellent customer service
- To manage and control all department expenditure within budget
Qualifications
Degree level education preferable.
Experience of working in a customer service facing environment and managing staff is essential , whilst knowledge of cash handling and ticketing systems is desirable. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and an interest in sport is preferable - whilst the successful candidate should have 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Matchday Stewarding Roles
Reading Football Club are currently operating a waiting list for positions in our match day stewarding team for the remainder of 2011-12 season.
A confident, helpful, approachable and enthusiastic personality together with good communication skills and a customer focus are essential to succeed in this role. Must be smart in appearance. Experience is not necessary however it would be desirable. Due to the nature of the job you need to be a minimum of 18 years old.
We are particularly looking for staff to work within our Response Team. The main purpose of this role is to ensure that the ground regulations are met at all times. An SIA license is not essential, however it would be desirable. Salary for this particular role reaches £10.60 per hour with an SIA licence or stewarding qualification. Work involves a minimum of 5 hours for Football and 4 hours for Rugby.
It is likely that we will have available positions to work as a Car Park Attendant or Safety Steward however due to the high number of applications we have received it is likely that positions will not become available until 2012-13 season. Salary for these roles starts from £7.60 per hour.

Catering Staff RequiredCompass are recruiting bar staff, plate waiters and retail kiosk staff.
Work will mainly be at weekends and some evenings depending on match fixtures. All staff must be polite, friendly and willing to help maintain high levels of service by committing to the whole season.
Experience is not necessary although it would be desirable.
