Full Time Ticket Office Agent
The Ticket Office sells tickets for games played at the Madejski Stadium for both Reading Football Club and London Irish.

Ticket Office Agents are responsible for the sale of tickets in advance of games over the telephone and in person as well as on match days before the game together with dealing with general queries raised by supporters in the lead up to events.

The working hours of the Ticket Office are 8.45am - 5.15pm Monday - Friday and 9.00am - 12pm Saturdays together with being open all event/match days which fall either at weekends, or evenings.

Sales Agents are required to work five out of these days and any additional days worked is paid by time off in lieu. While work load is planned around our fixture lists games can be added/changed at short notice which means on occasions some degree of flexibility may be required.

Please be aware this role requires the ability to work all home fixtures for both Reading FC & London Irish at the stadium.

This position involves constant interaction with members of the public in person, over the telephone and by e-mail and the successful applicant should be able to demonstrate a confident and positive approach to this type of work especially when working under pressure. Experience of using computers and cash handling is preferred however full training using our ticketing system will be provided.

The starting salary for this position is £12,500 per year.

Matchday staff
Reading Football Club are currently NOT recruiting for any part time match day staff for football or rugby matches.

Work involves approx 5 hours for around 40 events from August to May. Pay rates from £6.50 per hour.

A confident, helpful, approachable and enthusiastic personality, together with good communication skills and a customer focus, are essential to succeed in these roles. Must be smart in appearance. Experience not necessary as full training and support provided.

Catering Staff Required
Compass are recruiting bar staff, plate waiters and retail kiosk staff.

Work will mainly be at weekends and some evenings depending on match fixtures. All staff must be polite, friendly and willing to help maintain high levels of service by committing to the whole season.

Experience is not necessary although it would be desirable.
