Sal has a long association with the club, having played for the Royals in our time at Elm Park.

He has worked very successfully with our goalkeepers for a number of years, having joined full time in the summer of 2006 after a previous part time role.

Under his tutelage, we have seen a number of very good goalkeepers playing for our first team, and our stoppers continue to develop with thanks to his expertise.

He has overseen the emergence of Adam Federici as one of the Championship's finest goalkeeper's, whilst the likes of Alex McCarthy and Mikkel Andersen have shown prestigious talent with both club and country.
