James Harper will play table tennis against the likes of Jamie Redknapp, Glenn Hoddle and John Barnes at the Royal Albert Hall next Monday!
James won a tournament between the Reading FC players recently, and will take on other sports stars in a showpiece display during Monday's Dunlop Masters event, which will will go out live on Sky Sports 1.
Former table tennis champion Matthew Syed was down at the training ground to oversee the final between Harper and Marcus Hahnemann, and said that Harps could have been one of the top players in the UK at least, if he had gone into the sport.
Harps' game against Marcus was featured on our online TV station Reading World - click here for a short free clip and go to the Features section for the full video.
All profits from The Dunlop Masters will be donated to TTK, the table tennis initiative of Greenhouse Schools Project Ltd -a registered charity (Registration number: 1098744).
