How are the lads feeling about things?
Heads were down after the game on Saturday and people were disappointed with themselves. But we came into training on Monday looking to fix it and put things right. What better way than with a result on Saturday against Arsenal? Training has been good, the mood has been right and hopefully we can do things properly on Saturday.
Mixed emotions for you against Fulham, nice to start but then the result was poor.
Yes. I was happy to start, once you get a taste for it you don't want it to end. I didn't perform as well as I could have, but I hope to put that right at the weekend and keep my place.
How's Doyle at the moment, obviously he hasn't scored in a while.
He's OK. He had a header against Fulham and it just went wide, things like that just aren't falling for him. In every game he is working hard, and that goal will come. When it does I am sure there will be a big celebration!
Does he speak to you about it?
He just gets on with it and keeps working hard. He knows that goal will come, he is too good a player for that goal not to come. Last season they just seemed to be flying in and this time it has been more difficult. Once you get that drought it just seems impossible for you to score, and believe me I know how he feels! It is horrible, but he won't let it get to him.
How many do you think we will need to stay up?
We can't think about what others are doing. We have to concentrate on ourselves. We can't depend on other teams to do us favours.
How much are you looking forward to Arsenal?
Definitely, it is going to be a big game. People are saying we are playing them at the right time but I don't think there is a right time to play Arsenal! They are a great side, but I think if we go out all guns blazing, get stuck in from the off and not give them an inch, who knows what will happen?
Do you think it makes any difference playing at 12:45pm?
When you step on that pitch you are up for it, no matter what time. The players are professional enough to know what they need to do to get themselves right.
