Nick Hammond has expressed his thanks to the players who have left Reading this summer.
Graham Stack, Ulises De La Cruz, John Halls and John Oster are all moving on to pastures new, and Nick was expressed his gratitude for their contribution.
He told Reading World, "If you look at the last three years they've made a great contribution in many different ways.
"Sometimes it's not just a case of getting time on the pitch, and Graham Stack is a fine example of that.
"Stacky didn't play many games, but in the promotion season the support he gave to the group and to Marcus was invaluable, you can't put a price on that.
"People might not see it because they only see the eleven who are out on the pitch.
"Steve regularly talks about the strength needed in a squad, the group.
"I'd like to wish all of the lads well, they've all done well and I am sure they will go to good futures.
"We are very grateful for their contribution, for sure."
Adam Bygrave left this summer and has joined Weymouth, while Aaron Brown is also off to pastures new.
