Ulises on trial at Watford
Former Reading man Ulises De La Cruz is on trial with Coca-Cola Championship side Watford.
The Ecuadorian left Madejski Stadium this summer after two years with the Club, and is now hoping to secure a deal with the Vicarage Road outfit.
Ulises joined Reading after leaving Aston Villa in 2006, and went on to make 22(+3) appearance for the Club.
The 34-year-old was a popular figure with our players and management, and boss Steve Coppell said at the time of his departure, "Ulises De La Cruz is without doubt one of the best professionals I have ever worked with.
"If anyone phones me about him, I would recommend him to them 100%, absolutely no doubt.
"From our point of view it was just time for change, and the evolution of the squad for the challenge ahead. We just had players we have longer term commitments to."
At the moment John Halls is on trial at Blackpool, while John Oster is at Derby and Graham Stack has joined Plymouth.
