Royals boss Steve Coppell has called for a consistent level of performance from winger Jimmy Kebe.
The Mali international had an excellent game against Plymouth on Saturday, running at the defence with purpose and delivering some outstanding crosses, and Steve hopes he will play to that standard on a regular basis.
He said, "Kebe is looking OK - he's definitely got something about him and he gives us a threat from the right wing.
"He's had six months to get to know us, and he's certainly enjoying playing at the moment.
"We hope that he continues to learn his trade - he was playing in the French second division when he joined us, so he's still got to come to terms with English football, as is always the way.
"In the longer term we don't know what we'll get from him. What will happen when the weather turns and the pitches are bobbly? He's still got to answer those questions."
Kebe, 24, joined the Royals in January from French Ligue 1 outfit Lens, but was on loan at Boulogne at the time. Along with Kalifa Cisse he is away with Mali this week for an international match against Gabon in Paris.
Both Saturday's goals are online on Reading World now, with extended highlights to follow.
