Youngster makes loan move
Hal Robson-Kanu has agreed to rejoin League One side Southend United on loan.
The 19-year-old has penned a month's deal at Roots Hall.
Hal spent the tail end of last season in Essex, helping them to the play-off semi-finals.
He made 6(+2) appearances for Steve Tilson's men, scoring three goals.
Tilson said, "He did well last season when he was fit and will shake things up a bit. He can play wide or up front, which is a bonus, and he scored goals so he is a threat.
"It's a month to start with and we'll take it from there."
The England u19 international played a number of pre-season games for Reading this summer but picked up a hamstring problem.
He is now back to fitness and played in the reserves' 3-0 win over Southampton on Monday.
