Andre Bikey, Kalifa Cisse and Jimmy Kebe can still dream of a place in the 2010 World Cup Finals after their nations secured a place in the final group stages at the weekend.

Bikey played the full 90 minutes for Cameroon in their 5-0 thrashing of Mauritius. Samuel Eto'o scored a brace before Albert Meyong Ze (2) and Jean Makoun completed the scoring.

Cisse and Kebe both pulled out of the Mali squad to face Chad, but the Malians ensured their passage into the next stage with a 2-1 victory.

On-loan midfielder Emerse Fae appeared as a sub for Ivory Coast as they sauntered to a comfortable 3-0 home victory over Madagascar.

Closer to home, Brynjar Gunnarsson played the first 72 minutes for Iceland in their 2-0 defeat away to the Netherlands. They will now face Macedonia at home on Wednesday.
