Kevin Dillon says we had more than enough opportunities to win at Burnley on Tuesday evening, and wants us to start picking up more results away from home.

The Royals absolutely dominated at Turf Moor for the vast majority of the game, but couldn't get past home keeper Brian Jensen, who was sensational.

Robbie Blake hit us with a sucker punch on 81 minutes to give Owen Coyle's side all three points, and Dillon said, "We should have won, we had numerous chances.

"The subs made a difference for them, Robbie Blake is an ex-Premiership player and he's won the game for them.

"The keeper was their best individual on the the pitch, and he was making saves from every chance we had.

"In the long term this type of performance will stand us in good stead - we were terrific. You got the feeling that when the Burnley players came off even they felt we should have won. Good luck to them, they're a good team.

"This isn't a major setback, we've played 14 games and the season is still starting. But we've got to win away from home - we've almost had maximum points at home and we need more on the road, it's important."

Kevin was asked about a penalty claim for a foul on Chris Armstrong and said, "We won't harp on about things - people will see it. Refs have enough pressure on them."

Extended video highlights, including the penalty claim, will be online at 9:45pm on Wednesday evening.
