The Royals reserves are in action this Wednesday afternoon when they take on Gillingham in the totesport.com combination league.

The match is a home game for Brian McDermott's side, and will take place at Didcot Town FC, kick off 2pm.

Our second string have won five and drawn two of their games so far this season, and the likes of Marek Matejovsky, Michael Duberry, Bobby Convey and Shane Long are set to be included.

Our last game out was a 4-1 away win over Bristol City, with Convey on the scoresheet, as well as David Mooney, James Henry and recent signing Michail Antonio.

Meanwhile, next week's reserve game away to Brighton and Hove Albion has been postponed - no new date has yet been set and it will be announced in due course.

We also await a new date for our home game with Charlton which was called off a couple of weeks back.
