Michael Duberry is hoping that his return to fitness will inspire Ivar Ingimarsson and Andre Bikey into producing their best form.
The central defender has returned to fitness after missing virtually the entire season with a calf injury, and is now back in first team contention.
He said, "I've got myself fit and now my aim is to push on and stay strong for the second half of the season.
"The 11 playing at the moment are making it hard for anyone else to get in the team, and I haven't got a problem with that.
"Hopefully I can put pressure on Ivar and Bikey - the goal for everyone is promotion, and if me training well pushes them and they keep their places and win promotion, so be it.
"Of course I'd rather play but I'm prepared to bide my time until the manager taps me on the shoulder.
"I'll wait patiently, but there's a lot of football to be played this season and I want to do my bit - there are photos around the place of the team getting promoted last time, and I want to be part of that."
Looking back on his injury problems, Michael admitted, "It's been a nightmare.
"I had one of my best pre-seasons in years, then the week before the season started Lady Luck bit me in the bum!
"Then I came back for the Luton game and after 20 minutes my calf went. Me and Lady Luck need a little meeting, a little truce!"
