Landmark for Hunt brothers
Wednesday night was an exceptionally proud evening for the Hunt family as the brothers both hit landmarks in their international careers.
Noel made his Ireland debut in the 3-2 friendly loss to Poland, coming on on the hour for Kevin Doyle, the same time as Stephen came off the bench.
Stephen then scored his first goal for his country with an 88th minute penalty after Shane Long had been fouled.
The Hunts became the first brothers to play for Ireland in 28 years since David and Pierce O'Leary.
Long had come off the bench to win the spot kick, and he could have had another penalty, while he also had a header cleared off the line.
All three of our subs made a good impact, while Doyle started the game and worked hard holding the ball up.
Elsewhere, Adam Federici was part of Australia's squad that beat Bahrain 1-0 but was not named as a sub.
Emerse Fae scored a deflected goal for the Cote D'Ivoire in a 2-2 draw away to Israel.
On Tuesday Alex Pearce's Scotland u21s lost to Northern Ireland, while Andre Bikey did not travel for Cameroon's game in South Africa and Marek Matejovsky was not needed after standby for Czech Republic.
