Reading Academy player Jake Taylor scored on his full debut for Wales' u19s recently. Jake slotted home in a 6-0 win over Andorra, having previously come on as a substitute in defeats against Romania then Turkey.

Unfortunately Brian Flynn's youngsters will not be able to progress to the next stage of qualifying for the UEFA under 19 Championships after finishing third in a group of four.

Our frontman Radoslav Vasilev scored two in three games for Bulgaria's u19s but sadly they too cannot qualify. Viktor Illugason was twice introduced as a sub for Iceland's u19s but they finished bottom of their group.
