Reading FC have confirmed that Emerse Fae will sign for Nice on a permanent basis following his successful loan to the French club.

At the start of the season the midfielder made a loan move to Nice, who have now confirmed in writing that they wish to conclude the conversion of the loan into a permanent deal, as per the initial agreement between the clubs.

Ivory Coast international Fae has been ever-present for Nice, who are currently placed eighth in Ligue 1 as the French league approaches its winter break.

The terms of the permanent deal between the clubs will remain undisclosed.
