Hunt wins Championship award
Royals winger Stephen Hunt has been named the official Powerade Championship player of the month.
Hunt played all 630 minutes for us in seven league fixtures, scoring once as well with a penalty at home to Norwich.
We also scored five times as a result of his deliveries from wide areas, and remained unbeaten throughout.
Chris Kamara, Chairman of the Powerade panel said, "Stephen has been in terrific form for Reading since the start of the season and December was no exception.
"His driving displays from midfield were instrumental in his side's fine performances, which saw them stay unbeaten and notch five consecutive wins, culminating in an outstanding away victory at Birmingham."
Also nominated for this award were Jay Bothroyd of Cardiff City, Patrick McCarthy of Crystal Palace and Swansea City's Jason Scotland.
Steve Coppell was also named manager of the month for December.
