The Royals confirmed two outgoing loan deals on this deadline day - and that was the end of the Club's involvement in the transfer window.

Graeme Murty extended his spell at Charlton Athletic for a further month, while young goalkeeper Alex McCarthy penned a month's deal at League Two Aldershot.

The McCarthy loan was confirmed at 3:30pm, and that was the Club's last deal before the 5pm deadline.

During this transfer window, the Royals signed Jay Tabb from Coventry City, while Dan Harding joined from Ipswich on loan until the end of the season.

Emerse Fae made a permanent move to Nice, and Viktor Illugason left to return to Iceland.

There were loans for Hal Robson-Kanu (Swindon), Scott Golbourne (Oldham), Nicholas Bignall (Cheltenham), Oliver Bozanic (Woking), Daniel Spence (Salisbury), Michail Antonio (Tooting), as well as Murty and McCarthy.
