Stephen Hunt is delighted to have agreed a new contract with the Club, and is concentrating 100% on helping us get promoted back into the Premier League.

Hunt, 28, is poised to sign a new deal in the next few days, keeping him at Madejski Stadium until the summer of 2012.

Speaking in an interview that is live on our online TV station Reading World now, he said, "I've always had a clear head and what with signing a new three-and-a-half year contract I can't ask for any more.

"I'm happy here, I've never said I wasn't happy or not enjoying being at Reading.

"I'll hold my hands up and say there's been both good and bad from me this month, but I'm an honest guy and if there's Premier League clubs interested then hopefully you can't blame me.

"Hopefully now we can move forward to just help us get promotion. Agreeing this contract shows my commitment.

"I know there's been a lot of talking, and a lot of that has been me talking. But I'm happy here and settled.

"We all just want to get promoted now. We will give it our best shot. We want to get on a run, get the points on the board and look to win the league.

"I've got a big personal aim now to help the team with as many crosses and goals as I can between now and the end of the season.

"I want to have a big impact because the best is yet to come and I want to show that."
