Stephen Hunt has put pen to paper on his new contract.
Terms had been agreed earlier in the week, and Stephen signed all the paperwork on Thursday afternoon in Chairman John Madejski's office.
The 28-year-old Ireland international is now contracted to the Royals until the summer of 2012.

Manager Steve Coppell said, "Now Stephen has signed, we hope he can achieve his ambitions here at Reading.
"His commitment during the last month can be unsquestioned and he's given 100% every time he has played in a Reading shirt."
Hunt added, "I'm delighted to sign, hopefully I can let my football do the talking now.
"I'm happy here, I might have regretted how I said some things last week, but I always give 100% out on the pitch and in training, and I'm honest. Sometimes that gets me in trouble!"
"The fans have been great for us, it's a vital few months in the Club's history ahead of us.
"We've a strong mentality here, it's vital we get results as we try to go straight back up."
