Michail Antonio has been recalled from his loan spell at Tooting & Mitcham, and the young winger is hoping to impress now he is back with the Royals.

Antonio, 18, scored six goals in six games for the Terrors, and now he is back at Madejski Stadium he is eligible to feature for our reserve team.

He will play against Crystal Palace's second string this Wednesday and the right winger aiming to shine.

He told readingfc.co.uk, "It's a very good boost for me to be taken back, hopefully now I can keep training, do well and make an appearance.

"I'm taking this as a positive thing so I can keep battling and get my chance.

"I think I will play on Wednesday, it's my opportunity, I've got to take it and hopefullly, hopefully, hopefully make an appearance for the first team.

"Going to Tooting I got my confidence, scored some goals, now I'm happy and think I'm getting better so maybe down the line I can get my appearance."
