Midfield man makes loan exit

Reading midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has agreed a one-month loan deal with League One side Crewe Alexandra.

The 19-year-old has made three substitute appearances in his Reading career, and also enjoyed a loan spell at Shrewsbury this season, playing four games, scoring once.

The Icelandic under 21 international will link up with fellow countryman Gudjon Thordarson, who is in charge at Gresty Road underneath Director Of Football Dario Gradi.

Gylfi trained with Reading on Friday morning and will go straight into the squad for their vital six-pointer away to Brighton this Saturday.

Meanwhile, Hal Robson-Kanu has extended his loan spell with Swindon Town for a further month. The 19-year-old has played six games for Danny Wilson's men, scoring one goal. He will now remain at the County Ground until 25th March, giving him chance to play a further eight matches for the Robins in League One.

Oliver Bozanic is to extend his time at Woking by a month, and the Australian has played six times for the Cards.

James Henry scored again for Millwall in midweek, notching a penalty after his cross was adjudged to have been handled. He also set up another goal in a 3-1 win over Cheltenham - Reading World subscribers can catch up with the full match highlights right now.

Michail Antonio picked up an injury on loan for Cheltenham at the weekend, but the ankle problem is not too bad and he will be only out for a few weeks.

Nicholas Bignall played for Cheltenham in that 3-1 midweek loss to the Lions, getting another 74 minutes under his belt. Town's strike was an own goal, Richard Duffy scoring under pressure from Bignall.

Scott Golbourne played 59 minutes of Oldham's 2-0 home defeat to Bristol Rovers, being withdrawn just before the visitors scored their second.

Daniel Spence is back with the Club after a month at Salisbury City, and played for our reserves in midweek.
