Former Reading man Ulises De La Cruz has joined Birmingham on a month-long contract.

The Ecuadorian defender has been training with the Blues for a few weeks, having previously trialled with Watford, Coventry and Charlton during the past few months.

A popular figure in our dressing room, he left Madejski Stadium in the summer after two years with the Club, making 22(+3) appearances and scoring one goal.
