Royals boss Steve Coppell admits he could consider adding fresh face to his squad if he thought it would strengthen the team's push for promotion.
With 12 games to go, Coppell wants to give himself the best opportunity of securing a return to the Premier League, and is constantly keeping one eye on the market.
He said, "Of course I would strengthen. It's my job to get the best group of players that I can.
"If I'm not doing that then I'm shirking my responsibilities. If someone's available, I would strengthen.
"It might depend on injuries, but if someone is missing for two weeks at the moment they you're talking about sitting out four or five games."
