Julian that was your first game in the first team for a while, how do you think it went?
I think it went well, obviously we were coming for the win, but we will take the point and to be honest I thought in the last 10 minutes we would be able to nick it. Overall it went well I thought.
And did you expect to get a chance at this stage in the season, has it been frustrating waiting on the sidelines?
No, it's definitely not frustrating. I know I'm young and obviously I have to wait for my chance and I am deputising for Liam, so I understand that when he comes back he may go straight back into the team and that I am cover.
There's a tough game coming up next, Sheffield United, are you looking forward to it?
Yes it will be good with a good atmosphere. Obviously they won again on Saturday so it will be close. Burnley won as well so it's getting tight up there now. This game is of great importance.
What's it like coming through the Academy? Is it nice that the manager puts faith in young players like yourself and of course earlier on we saw James Henry in there, is it good for the other young players who haven't made it yet to think well if he has made it then so can I?
Definitely. Before me it was Pearcey, Jem and James getting in the team so that gave me a bit more confidence that if they could make it, then I can do it as well. I have been playing with them for three years now. It's a boost for the Academy and every time an Academy player is in the team the Academy manager says 'he's done it, so why can't you?'
