Hunt rues crucial 60 seconds

Posted on: Sat 11 Apr 2009

Stephen Hunt was left to rue 60 seconds of play that gave Sheffield United all three points on Good Friday.

With Paddy Kenny stranded, Dave Kitson hit the bar from a Jimmy Kebe cross on 58 minutes, and just a minute later the Blades were in front after Brian Howard pounced to deflect one home and past Marcus Hahnemann.

That moment proved crucial, and Hunt said, "Things are a struggle for us at the moment.

"We hit the bar just before they scored and their goal was a mishit - it came off me, past a few bodies then into the back of our net. That just sums up the luck right now.

"We've got to get together, go again and just try to win all five games now.

"Monday is the priority, that would be the first win and then we'd go from there.

"Blackpool are a difficult team and we'll need to be at our best if we're going to start winning."
