Reading loan duo Alan Bennett and Ben Hamer helped Brentford to secure the League Two title this weekend.

Bennett, the Bees' skipper, picked a great time to notch his first goal of the season, opening the scoring in the 3-1 win at Darlington.

Hamer actually came off injured with a little more than an hour gone, but was certainly fit enough to join in the post-match celebrations, dousing teammates with champagne in the dressing room. Former Reading man John Halls was also among their squad.

Unfortunately though Michail Antonio's Cheltenham were relegated at the weekend despite a valiant run of results in recent weeks. Gylfi Sigurdsson's Crewe are also looking down the barrel at the bottom of League One.

Simon Church scored a nice goal for Leyton Orient but Millwall came back to win 2-1. The Lions' team contained on-loan Reading man James Henry, back in the side after a recent injury, and the winger set up a late winner for Gary Alexander.

Henry is on loan at Millwall until 15th May, meaning he is eligible for the play-off semi-finals but would not be available for the final.

Elsewhere in League One, Hal Robson-Kanu played his final game for Swindon as they beat Bristol Rovers 2-1 to secure their League One status.

Sam Sodje got another 90 minutes for Leeds as they closed in on the League One play-offs, while Scott Davies lined up for Aldershot in a 2-2 home draw with Chester.

In the Blue Square Premier, Oliver Bozanic set up Woking's goal in a 3-1 loss at Rushden, and his side were relegated. Their season is over so he is now back at Madejski Stadium and will likely play for our reserves this week.
