Kelly brothers play for reserves

Posted on: Thu 30 Apr 2009

The Royals have named a young reserve team to take on Gillingham this afternoon, and the Kelly brothers line up together for the first time in a Reading shirt.

Julian Kelly, 19, plays at left back, while his younger brother Oliver, 17 last month, starts in a holding midfield role.

The boys come from a successful family, as their older sister Natalie has been playing the lead female role in the Lion King in the West End, while younger sister Sienna recently won a place at the National School of Youth Ballet!

Our reserves kick off at 2pm at Priestfield, and they were crowned Totesport.Com combination League champions earlier this week when winning at Millwall 4-1.

The team is:
1 - Mikkel Andersen
2 - James Rowe
3 - Julian Kelly
4 - Oliver Kelly
5 - Clovis Kamdjo
6 - Angus MacDonald
7 - Jahson Downes
8 - Andrew White
9 - Abdulai Baggie
