Reading Football Club would like to pay tribute to Gary Stevenson, a very popular figure on the local youth football scene, who sadly passed away whilst on a family holiday in Cuba on Easter Sunday.

Gary had been in youth football for many years, and even in his passing his legacy will continue. Gary's family have asked that anyone wishing to express their condolences do so by making a charitable donation to the Reading FC Community Trust.

His death was marked by a minute's silence across all of the local youth leagues last weekend.

Our condolences go to Gary's wife Jacqui and his four children, Sam, Joe, Harry and Emmy.

Donation cheques should be made payable to 'The Reading FC Community Trust' and sent to Kevin Blee of Reeves Rangers at 19 Clifton Road, Wokingham, Berks RG41 1NL. Gary's funeral will take place at Easthampstead Park on Wednesday 6th May at 11.15am.
