Defender Chris Armstrong was revealed as Reading's official player of the season for 2008/9 this Sunday.
Former Sheffield United left back Armstrong was first after a poll in which 5,000 Royals fans voiced their opinions, with Kevin Doyle second and Noel Hunt third.
Armstrong is unfortunately injured at the moment but received his award from Chairman John Madejski, as well as representatives of the Reading Chronicle.
The Club would like to thank all supporters who voted, as well as the Chronicle and Courage for their participation.
