Loan trio available for play-offs
The Royals have confirmed that loanees Dan Harding, Dave Kitson and Glen Little are all available for the duration of the play-offs under the terms of their respective spells from Ipswich, Stoke City and Portsmouth.
Harding and Kitson both started in the season's finale against Birmingham on Sunday, with former Burnley winger Little currently recovering from a hamstring injury in the hope of facing his former club this weekend.
In addition, a number of players have been welcomed back to the Hogwood Park training ground this week following successful loan spells.
David Mooney, Simon Church and Hal Robson-Kanu are among those to have returned to the Royals having impressed during their respective stints at Norwich City, Leyton Orient and Swindon Town.
Director Of Football Nick Hammond told readingfc.co.uk, "Our loan players have done really well this season, gaining a great deal of experience and making a big contribution to their loan clubs.
"For example, Ben Hamer and Alan Bennett both played virtually every game for Brentford in their League Two championship-winning season, and it's encouraging to see so many of our young players doing well.
"They've all come back to the training ground with a real spring in their step, and they'll make a valuable contribution to this week's training sessions ahead of the play-offs."
The full list of players recently returned from loan spells is: Dave Mooney (Norwich), Simon Church (Leyton Orient), Hal Robson-Kanu (Swindon), Gylfi Sigurdsson (Crewe), Michail Antonio (Cheltenham), Ben Hamer & Alan Bennett (Brentford), Scott Davies (Aldershot).
James Henry (Millwall) and Sam Sodje (Leeds) remain out on loan and will come up against each other in the League One play-offs. Henry's loan does not cover the play-off final, just the semi-final.
Burnley look likely to be without right back Rhys Williams after his loan from Middlesbrough expired - the Clarets are believed to be appealing a decision not to allow the loan to be extended.
